As new technology advances the way we interact with the window well covers, it is also changing our order process, our template process, and our building process. A big part of our time is creating a way to easily and smoothing be able to hasten the online purchase of the best window well covers. We’ve streamlined our template process and building process to get our covers leading fast turnaround times even faster. Our manufacturing process includes even more automated aspects than it ever did before ensuring more consistent quality and less monotonous labor. Our newly automated processes is a conveyor fed double-dipped polyurethane coating process. Submerging the covers in a coating is the only way to get full coverage of the hard-to-get places that would be tedious in our normal spray-on process. Just to be sure, we dip our covers twice with a heat-cure in between and a cold-cure after. This process ensures complete coverage and hands down the best coating in the industry.
What we haven’t changed at Mountainland is our commitment to a true custom cover. Great product, amazing service and the BEST PRICE I could find on the internet! Would highly recommend! I needed something simple to cover my 3 window wells and found a standard size of the steel mesh model that was perfect for 2 of them. The other one didn’t quite fit because the shape was different. I was bummed because the price was so good and the quality clearly so great! But I called and for $100 they came to take measurements for a custom cover, they took away the one that didn’t fit and came back and installed the new one. Chef’s kiss! Such great quality and I didn’t have to drive to Denver again (no shipping cost was a huge help!). The customer service was top notch. Someone always answered the phone and was courteous, professional and TOTALLY on top of everything.
So could you spend less, sure .. but you get what you pay for. I got great service, communication, and a great looking product that fits perfectly because it was custom measured and made at the factory to fit my personal window wells. My wells were just an inch shy of being “Over size”, due to the custom concrete make. There was no up-charge. Pay one price and get it all and new lift a finger. Ok, maybe a few to make the order online. Do it! You won’t be disappointed.
