When we started building window well covers over 15 years ago, we were just a small welding shop building mostly trailers without much experience specifically in window well covers. How hard could it be? It turns out, there are a lot of ways to mess up a window well cover. Over the years we have fine-tuned our process from start to finish. We’ve introduced hassle free online ordering. We’ve experimented with various different materials and designs. We’ve evaluated countless coating options and means of transport. Every innovation in manufacturing and design brings unforeseen new challenges. There are some things you can only learn through trial and error and volume. We’ve been around long enough to learn from a lot of mistakes.
Innovation
After more than 5 years of research, we are proud to say we have implemented the only automated manufacturing process in the window well cover industry. Using custom hardware and software we can now take a picture of your window well and send it real-time to our in-house custom bender that can bend a perfectly matched custom frame in either steel or aluminum. While this sounds easy in theory in practice it was significantly more complicated. What used to be the primary bottleneck and variable in the entire manufacturing process is now the easiest part.

We have not become the largest window well cover manufacturer in Colorado & Chicago by accident. We have grown each year through continuous innovation and an unwavering commitment to quality. Great product, amazing service and the BEST PRICE I could find on the internet! Would highly recommend! I needed something simple to cover my 3 window wells and found a standard size of the steel mesh model that was perfect for 2 of them. The other one didn’t quite fit because the shape was different. I was bummed because the price was so good and the quality clearly so great! But I called and for $100 they came to take measurements for a custom cover, they took away the one that didn’t fit and came back and installed the new one. Chef’s kiss! Such great quality and I didn’t have to drive to Denver again (no shipping cost was a huge help!). The customer service was top notch. Someone always answered the phone and was courteous, professional and TOTALLY on top of everything.
So could you spend less, sure .. but you get what you pay for. I got great service, communication, and a great looking product that fits perfectly because it was custom measured and made at the factory to fit my personal window wells. My wells were just an inch shy of being “Over size”, due to the custom concrete make. There was no up-charge. Pay one price and get it all and new lift a finger. Ok, maybe a few to make the order online. Do it! You won’t be disappointed.
